Lecithin in protein powder

Lipid mixture

What it is

US food rules describe commercial lecithin as a naturally occurring mixture of phosphatides with smaller amounts of other lipids, isolated from vegetable oils. That rule names soy, safflower and corn oils. Some lists here name sunflower or soy as the source, and others say only lecithin.

The ingredient lists here do not say why it was added.
